Cookies & Website Storage
How this website uses cookies and similar technologies.

What we found on this website
We audited the website's own code and third-party services. This site sets no tracking cookies of its own, runs no analytics product, and includes no advertising or tracking pixels. Sign-in is handled using your browser's local storage rather than tracking cookies. Our hosting and backend providers may set essential cookies purely to route and secure requests.
Storage used by this website
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration | Essential? |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| sb-<project>-auth-token | Lovable Cloud authentication (Supabase infrastructure) | Keeps you signed in and holds your session/refresh token so signed-in pages work. | Browser local storage | Until you sign out or clear your browser storage | Yes — strictly necessary |
| fthm:pending-subscribe | From The Trainer's Mouth | Remembers, between sign-up and your first sign-in, whether you asked for email updates so your preference is not lost. | Browser local storage | Removed as soon as the preference has been saved to your account | Yes — strictly necessary to deliver the preference you set |
| fthm:quote-image-style… | From The Trainer's Mouth | Remembers layout choices in the administrator-only social image generator. Only created for signed-in administrators. | Browser local storage | Until cleared in your browser | Yes — strictly necessary for that admin tool |
When the site is viewed inside the Lovable editor preview, the same sign-in information may be shared between preview windows. That storage is also strictly necessary and is not present on the public website in normal use.
Strictly necessary vs optional
Strictly necessary storage is needed for the website to work — for example keeping you signed in and remembering a preference you have just set. UK law does not require consent for this, although we must tell you about it, which is what this page does.
Optional (non-essential) technologies — analytics, advertising, personalisation and cross-site tracking — require your consent before they may be used. This website does not use any, so there is nothing here for you to accept or reject. If we ever introduce non-essential technologies we will add a consent banner offering equally clear "Accept optional cookies", "Reject optional cookies" and "Manage preferences" choices, with nothing pre-ticked, and we will not load them before valid consent is given.
Third-party requests
The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those files from Google's servers. Racecard data comes from The Racing API and is fetched by our server, not your browser. Neither of these places tracking storage on your device through this website.
Managing your preferences
Because we only use strictly necessary storage, there are no optional cookie preferences to change. You can clear or block browser storage at any time in your browser settings, though blocking it will sign you out and prevent signed-in features from working.
Email preferences are managed separately in Account settings → Privacy & Emails, and more detail about personal information is in our Privacy & GDPR notice.
